GraviTrax® Tips and Tricks for Assembly
Hammer
Check that the green hammer arm into which the ball is inserted is correctly inserted into the two brackets of the hammer strike. You may have inserted the arm into the brackets twisted by 180°, which is the reason why it is difficult to move.
Also check that the brackets are fully inserted into the stone and that they make a clearly audible clicking sound .
Looping
Due to its design, the loop can only be used at very high ball speeds. To achieve this, the construction requires a height of 6 height stones (large) and 1 height stone (small) or the Gauss cannon.
An example track is shown in the loop instructions.
When the product was introduced, there were a few packages that contained incorrect instructions. We apologise for this. The correct instructions with construction games can be found here.
Trampoline
When the product was introduced, there were a few packages that contained incorrect instructions. We apologise for this. You can find the correct instructions with assembly examples here.
Some of the trampolines have slight differences in production. If your trampoline does not work as it does in the example tracks or your own tracks, please contact our customer service.
Transfer
Once the transfer is assembled, test again to make sure that step 2 of the instructions was carried out correctly. If the distance between the transparent pin and the green plate is too large, the transfer may be too high and may not be able to hold the ball properly.
Likewise, sometimes a malfunction can occur if the white base of the transfer is not properly positioned on the height stone but is slightly twisted. Check that the transfer is straight.
Catapult
With the catapult, slight deviations can occur due to the rubber band used.
The reason for this is small tolerances in the production of the rubber bands, which differ slightly in thickness, which is why the catapult shoots different distances. We are working on improving our catapults!
Until then, we can give you the following recommendations :
- Try stretching the rubber band a little and then reinserting it.
- Replace the rubber band with one of the included replacement rubber bands.
- You are welcome to order new rubber bands using our spare parts form on our Contact Us page.
With some extensions such as the Zipline, Catapult, Hammer, and Flip, we would advise you not to dismantle these fully when not in use. The arms are designed to remain secured in place, so dismantling them may cause them to break.
